About the b•boppers

The b•boppers team is our youngest group of dancers selected to represent Studio b as part of our dance team program. Dancers interested in the boppers team should possess a desire for a more focused dance class to help them achieve future dance goals, have great class attendance & etiquette as well as have some prior dance experience. The objective of the b•boppers is to provide an introductory experience to our Studio b Dance Team. We are confident this talented group of dancers will light up the stage with their spirited smiles, energy and enthusiasm. Not only will these dancers have a ton of fun, they will also gain valuable life experiences like how to work through nerves in front of an audience and how to work in a team environment. ​

Age/Requirements
b.boppers dance team is for ages 4-6 with some prior dance experience.

Commitment

• Summer 2-day camp

• Weekly class during fall and spring sessions that includes technique and choreography

Performances

Planned b•bopper team performances include our Team Competition Preview and May recital. Other community opportunities may include the Lafayette Christmas Parade, Purdue basketball game, etc. The tentative performance schedule and expectations are subject to change.

Competition

The b•boppers will represent Studio b at one spring competition.

Audition Information

Dancers will audition and be placed in their performance groups. Auditions were held May 31 - June 2 for the 2022-2023 season.
