Personalized Performance Experience!
The Studio b Winter Showcase will have a different look and feel this year. Our 6th annual showcase will celebrate our dancers and their accomplishments through a personalized performing experience!
Each class will be given a performance day and time and will showcase the routine that they have learned this session. The performance will take place on December 11, 12 or 13 in the blue room and each dancer may invite two guests to view their performance. (We will also provide a virtual viewing option.)
Every performing dancer will receive a Winter Showcase t-shirt. Please complete the Winter Showcase T-Shirt Form to reserve your 2020 t-shirt.
Studio b (736 N 9th St, Lafayette)
Shirt: Each performing dancer will receive a free Studio b t-shirt to wear for the Winter Showcase performance! (be sure to submit your t-shirt form)
Bottoms: Girls - black capri pants or leggings / Boys - black basketball shorts or pants
Shoes: Students will wear the appropriate shoes for their class (i.e. jazz shoes, ballet shoes, etc.). We ask that you purchase your shoes from the studio so that all students have the same color and style
Hair & Makeup
All girls’ hair should be in a bun on the crown of the head. Performers will not be under bright lights so makeup is not required; if you chose to wear makeup, we recommend gray tones for the eyes and a burgundy shade of lipstick.
Cost of Admission
There is no fee to watch the Winter Showcase performances. Each year this has been a great opportunity for us to come together as a community to celebrate our students as well as help those in need. Between December 1 - 14 we will be collecting non-perishable food items to be donated to the St. James Food Pantry.
Since the number of guests is limited, we will be streaming each performance live. More details to come!
Photos & Videos
Guests are welcome to take photos and videos of dancers performance. We will also have photo backdrops set up to capture the memories of their 2020 Winter Showcase performance.
Arrival and Departure
When it is time for your dancer to check in, Studio b staff will open the front door to welcome you. Dancers will follow the hall to the right to prepare for their performance and guests will enter the blue room door through the lobby to be seated. We will have chairs spaced apart to allow for social distancing. We ask that masks be worn until you are in your seats in the lobby area and when walking around the studio.
Once the performance is over, guests and dancers may exit through the corner door in the blue room which faces the corner of 9th & Union.
