Planning classes for each recital involves a meticulous process. Initially, we arrange dancers across various classes, aiming to accommodate siblings in the same performances. Balancing the distribution of families across shows is crucial to prevent overcrowding and ensure enjoyable, manageable show durations.
To streamline this process, we utilize specialized recital planning software that minimizes conflicts. Occasionally, families may find themselves assigned to multiple shows, a practice common in many dance studios to enhance the overall experience. More shows mean more opportunities for fun and cherished memories for our dancers!
More details on tickets to come!
We won't have a separate dress rehearsal for the recital. Instead, we'll focus on ensuring our students are well-prepared during their regular weekly classes. Consistent attendance in these classes is crucial as it's where your dancer will get ready for the main event!
We anticipate each show being approximately 1 hour.
Our experienced and background-checked team is responsible for assisting, coordinating, and overseeing backstage operations throughout the entire show. We dedicate months to meticulously planning and organizing our staff, ensuring that you can sit back, relax, and fully enjoy the performance!
The recital is a cherished memory for all involved! To ensure the best experience, we hire professional photographers and videographers for every show. We kindly request that audience members refrain from using phones or flash photography, as it can be distracting for both dancers and fellow parents. This policy is in place to prioritize the safety of our performers and to enhance the enjoyment of all audience members.
Yes, indeed! Annually, we organize a professional portrait session with Lausch Photography. Ed Lausch and our team will ensure you receive stunning, top-notch portraits capturing various dance poses.
Portraits will be taken at the studio on Saturday, April 5th from 1:00-5:00 PM. Click the link below to view packages & pricing:
Not to worry! If a dancer's hair is too short to be fully pulled back, kindly ensure that the front is pulled back to keep it out of their eyes during performances.
We trust that parents know best when it comes to deciding what's suitable for their dancers based on their parenting preferences. However, it's important to note that under the bright stage lights, dancers without any makeup may appear washed out. To achieve a natural look onstage, a touch of makeup is recommended. We suggest applying a warm blush and red lipstick at the very least. For younger dancers, remember that the recital is an annual event and can feel like an exciting opportunity to play dress-up!
Each class will be given a check-in time that will be posted in BAND and sent via email closer to big day.
Please be sure your dancer arrives on time with hair & makeup done and in their first costume.
