Class Levels/Recommendations
Dancers are monitored and continuously evaluated in their current dance classes. Instructors are asked to give their recommendation for the following session's level based on their knowledge of the dancers and performance in classes. In your parent portal, the level that your dancer is eligible for shows highlighted in green (for currently enrolled dancers). If your dancer is unable to enroll in the recommended level due to a scheduling conflict, they may enroll in their current level or one level below (if applicable). Please email Office@StudiobLafayette.com with class level questions.
Dancers that are not currently enrolled in a specific leveled class should email Office@StudiobLafayette.com to inquire about levels and set up a possible evaluation. We want all dancers to be placed in a class that suits them best and meets them where they are so they can dance to their full potential.
Session Dates
Tuesday, January 2 & Thursday, January 4: Open House 5:00-7:00 PM
Saturday, January 6: Open House 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Sunday, January 7: Classes begin
Thursday, January 25: Studio b 10 Year Ribbon Cutting Ceremony at 1:30 PM - All are welcome to celebrate with us
Sunday, March 24 - Sunday, March 31: Spring Break - No dance classes Sunday - Sunday
Sunday, April 28 & Sunday, May 5: Spring Recital - more details coming soon!
Each performing class routine will be assigned to one recital show, each show is unique. If your dancer is in more than one class, it is possible that they will perform in more than one recital show.
Tuition
The tuition for our *15 week session is split into four tuition fees.
30 minute class: four payments of $64.50
40 minute class: four payments of $76.01
45 minute class: four payments of $77.49
50 minute class: four payments of $78.96
55 minute class: four payments of $80.44
60 minute class: four payments of $82.01
65 minute class: four payments of $84.16
75 minute class: four payments of $86.30
*Classes meeting on Sundays will meet for 14 weeks and rates will be adjusted accordingly.
Fee Processing Dates
Reservation Fee: A $10 non-refundable reservation fee per dancer is due at the time of enrollment.
Class tuition payments will be automatically processed on the following dates:
Sunday, January 7: Tuition Fee #1
Monday, January 22: Costume Fee (estimated cost between $75 - $95 plus tax, depending on class age/genre/level)
Monday, February 5: Tuition Fee #2
Monday, March 4: Tuition Fee #3
Monday, April 1: Tuition Fee #4
Monday, April 15: Recital Performance Fee ($39 per dancer, max $99 per family with multiple siblings)
Discounts
If you are eligible for a tuition discount through Studio b Dance Team membership or b.boppers/Spotlight membership, please note the following:

discount applies to regular rec class tuition only (excludes workshops, clinics, merchandise, etc)

discounts may not be combined with other offers/discounts; we will honor the highest discount value only

Inclement Weather
In the event that the Lafayette School Corporation cancels classes due to the weather, and the roads are still not drivable by 3 p.m., Studio b will cancel classes for the evening. Class cancellations will be posted on our social media pages, in class BAND groups and alerted via text/email. Canceled dance classes due to weather will be made up at a later date.
