Dear Studio b Families,
At this time, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our planned summer camps.
We will be moving forward and taking steps to hold our dance classes and return to fitness classes this summer. Please read below for information regarding updates we will be making to better ensure everyone's safety.
New Procedures for Your Safety
Dancer drop-off: To ensure social distancing measures are followed in the studio, parents/guardians will be asked to drop off their dancer for class. The lobby will not be open to wait during your students' dance class (only exception for parents of dancers under the age of 4). To minimize dancer traffic in and out of the studio, there is a minimum of 20 minutes between classes in each studio room to allow for proper cleaning and disinfecting.
Class size: Each class has been capped at a maximum physical capacity, adhering to the Governor's guidelines. If your dancer would like to participate in a class virtually, we will offer a Zoom format for most scheduled classes. *There are also virtual-only options on the schedule as well.
Social distancing: Studio rooms will be taped off so that each dancer has their own space to utilize within a safe distance from others. Masks are optional for students while in class. Dancers in back-to-back classes may wait in the lobby between class, where chairs have been spread out and separated.
Self-monitoring: We ask that parents & dancers are diligent in monitoring their health. If your dancer does not feel well or has a fever or any symptoms of illness, they should not attend class.
We will continue monitoring the situation and will be following any additional updates or changes made by the state and local authorities. We appreciate everyone's flexibility and understanding as we navigate toward this new normal. We can't wait to dance with you again soon!
We are using the Gym/Fitness mandates outlined by the Governor in this document as our guide for re-opening: https://backontrack.in.gov/files/BackOnTrack-IN_WhatsOpen-Closed.pdf
