Audition Registration

Audition Fee
There is a $25 audition fee for all registered dancers.

Audition Choreography Videos
All registered dancers will receive video links to learn their audition choreography (short combos). These will be performed throughout the audition process. Auditions take place in a class-like setting; dancers will go through a group warm-up/stretch, across the floor technique and skills as well as perform the choreography combos. 

Audition Details
Auditions for b.boppers, Spotlight and SbDT Competition Teams will occur at the same times (details below). On May 31, dancers should attend the age-specific audition time (use dancer's 'competition age' which is their age as of January 1, 2023). After the May 31 auditions, callback groups will be determined and communicated.  Callbacks will be on June 1 & 2.  Dancers should plan to be available for all of the times listed for potential callbacks. Parents/guardians are not permitted to stay during auditions, the studio will be closed to the public during these times. 

May 31 Audition Age Groups & Times
Ages 4 - 6 @ 1:00 - 2:30 pm
Ages 7 - 9 @ 3:00 - 4:30 pm
Ages 10 - 12 @ 5:00 - 6:30 pm
Ages 13+ @ 7:00 - 8:30 pm

June 1 & 2 Callbacks (specific callback groups TBD after initial auditions on May 31)
4:00 - 5:30 pm & 7:15 - 8:15 pm
